As a part of a grant-funded project entitled “Establishing a sustainable program for workforce development of employees from Puerto Rico for Michigan dairy farms” MSU Extension is seeking to hire a bi-lingual liaison to work with the employees. The liaison would meet with hired Puerto Ricans by phone and in-person on farms in Michigan and would help with their transition to the northern US and to the job. This is an on-call position for 19 hrs./week. It is currently funded for 13 months (Feb. 1, 2018 – Feb. 28, 2019) with the possibility of extension.
