Wise is the author of six books, including his celebrated memoir, White Like Me: Reflections on Race from a Privileged Son, as well as Dear White America: Letter to a New Minority, and Colorblind: The Rise of Post-Racial Politics and the Retreat from Racial Equity. In his latest book, Under the Affluence: Shaming the Poor, Praising the Rich and Sacrificing the Future of America, released in 2015, he explores the way that racism has been central to the development and perpetuation of the nation\u2019s class system. Further, he demonstrates the importance of challenging the dominant White racial narrative not only to fight racism itself, but also economic and social injustice in society.<\/p>\n
